chEARs Kathy, and welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel!
You’ve picked our favorite Park to visit with
your littles! My twin boys are five, so I asked them their favorite things to do at
Disney’s Animal Kingdom Park. In no particular order, here we go:
-
Meet Minnie and Mickey at Adventurers Outpost. This is one of our favorite places to meet our beloved Disney pals. We love their safari-themed outfits and find that the wait is often shorter than other locations (which is essential for short attention spans!).
-Speaking of Characters, we adore
Dug in our house. You can find him and Russell on Discovery Island. While you’re there, comb the trails for
Pocahontas!
-
Pandora - The World of Avatar, is a super cool place to explore, especially at night! The bioluminescent walkways are endlessly fascinating, and
Na’vi River Journey is breathtaking.
-
Festival of the Lion King is hands down our favorite live entertainment in all of the Parks! My kiddos love being chosen to dance on stage with the Cast during the finale. Moms tip - if you sit in the first few rows, the Cast Members are more likely to see your volunteer kiddo!
-No visit to Animal Kingdom Park is complete without a visit to the savanna! Your littles will be awestruck by the magnificent elephants, lions, rhinos and more on
Kilimanjaro Safaris.
-
Donald’s Dino-Bash! is a super fun place to get little wiggles out. The kids will join a prehistoric party hosted by Donald, Daisy, Goofy, and friends to celebrate Donald’s dinosaur ancestors!
Kathy, I hope these suggestions sprinkle your trip with pixie dust. Have a magical time!
