Hey there, Jennifer! Welcome to planDisney!
Your spectacular summer vacation will be here before you know it and there are SO many new attractions and experiences to dive into while you're visiting
The Most Magical Place on Earth! If you haven't visited the Resort in a few months or longer, make sure to spend time checking out the new
Remy's Ratatouille Adventure attraction in
EPCOT. I was able to ride this for the first time last December and it was some seriously zany fun! After you jump off the ride, pop into
La Creperie de Paris and grab a delicious sweet or savory Galette or Crepe. Yum!
For my family, having a
Park Hopper Option Theme Park Ticket is the ONLY way to go when we visit the Walt Disney World Resort. We love getting up early, rushing to be first in line at "rope drop" (entering the Parks before they even open!), and riding our favorite attractions before the Parks get too hot or too busy. In the afternoon we always head back to our
Disney Resorts Collection hotel for a swim and a nap before heading out to a different Park in the evening! To us, that midday rest is super important to keep the entire family happy all the way through fireworks like
Harmonious and
Disney Enchantment.
Even though right now all Guests ages three and over do need both a valid Theme Park Ticket as well as a
Theme Park Reservation to enter their first Park of the day, you'll be happy to know that you and your party do not need to make Theme Park Reservations for any Parks you plan to "hop" to throughout your trip. Remember, Park Hopping hours start at 2 p.m. each day, giving you ample time to explore two, three, or even all four Theme Parks in one day! I love the flexibility you have with a Park Hopper ticket. You can make last-minute dining reservations in the Parks or head back to a certain Park just for the fireworks show in the evening.
Enjoy your "hoppy" vacation!
