Do any of the moderate resorts have enough room for a cot/rollaway bed? My mom is wanting to go with us next year, but not sure if we want to spend deluxe resort $, or if she will have to get her own room at a mod. resort.

Due to fire regulations, cots and rollaway beds are not allowed in the moderate resorts. There are, however, some moderate situations that offer more than the standard two beds.

At Port Orleans Riverside, there are some rooms that include a trundle bed appropriately sized for a child up to about middle-school age. These rooms should be specifically requested if you are interested. You might also want to look into the cabins at Fort Wilderness. These spacious accommodations include two rooms -- a bedroom with a double bed plus twin bunk beds, and a living room with a pull-down double Murphy bed. The cabins also have a real kitchen and loads of outdoor space.

Another option would be the Family Suites at the All Star Music resort. These also have two rooms which sleep up to six people. You also have here the bonus of two bathrooms and a small kitchenette. While this is a value resort, the suite is priced similarly to a moderate and you have more space than you would with everyone in one room.

For reservations, pricing, or more information about any of these options, you can call Disney at 407-W-DISNEY.
