Do any of the Moana rooms at the Polynesian have walk in showers without tubs?

Hello Wendi! Thank you so much for stopping by planDisney again!

Disney's Polynesian Village Resort has been a favorite of mine since I first had breakfast there with Minnie Mouse when I was just 5 years old! I've always wanted to stay there more than any other Disney Resorts Collection hotel, but we just haven't been able to make it work yet.  However, after seeing these Moana-inspired rooms, I'm not sure how much longer I can wait! Even though I'm still waiting for my dreamy, tropical vacation, I hope you and your party will be able to sail the Seven Seas and arrive in paradise!

While I've never stayed at the Polynesian Village Resort, I did do a little digging to find an answer to your question! Some Moana-themed rooms within the newly reimagined spaces do indeed include walk-in showers, while some include a combination bathtub and shower.  With the shower, you have not one, but two, showerheads, so you can really feel like you're bathing under a waterfall on a tropical island! Shampoo, conditioner and body wash in Disney Resorts H2O+ brand are mounted on the wall for your convenience.

If you're looking to be swept away into a room with a walk-in shower, I would suggest adding it as a request to your reservation on your My Disney Experience account when you complete your Online check-in.  Here, under "My Plans" you'll be able to add some requests.  If you cannot find what you're looking for here, I would speak to a helpful Cast Member at (407) 939-1936. The Cast Member will be able to add your request to your reservation notes. While not all requests can be guaranteed, I know Cast Members will do their best to take care of you.

While you're there, don't miss out on all the wonderful and delicious dining options that you have available just steps from your Guest room door!  One of my favorite treats, Tonga Toast, is hands-down the best way to start my Disney day. You can find this yummy, banana-filled French toast, and other tropical fare, at Kona Cafe in the Great Ceremonial House. Once your belly is full, hop on that famous Monorail to arrive at Magic Kingdom Park in just minutes!

Wendi, I hope you and your family have a chance to rest and recharge in the beauty of Disney's Polynesian Village Resort.  You're certain to have a memorable experience here no matter which room you stay in!

Hi All, I'm Ashley! From the very beginning Walt Disney World Resort has always been a part of my life. As a child I excitedly helped to plan family trips, as a young adult I planned our "happily ever after" right on Disney property, and now I'm lucky enough to plan magical vacations for my three incredible children. When we're not taking in the enchanting experiences of the parks, we're home in Massachusetts, probably planning our next trip! Learn More About Ashley
