I’m happy to share that everyone’s favorite wayfinder, Moana, is currently meeting Guests in not one, but two different locations! You can find her at
Character Landing on Discovery Island in Animal Kingdom, as well as in World of Nature near the entrance to
Journey of Water, Inspired by Moana at EPCOT.
Since your visit isn’t until the
holiday season, I do want to mention that character locations can always change. I highly recommend keeping an eye on your
My Disney Experience app during your trip to see exactly where she’ll be appearing.
From the home screen, tap the location pin icon at the bottom of the app. Then, scroll across the top menu and select “Characters.” You’ll see a map of all four theme parks with character locations throughout Walt Disney World Resort. One of my favorite tips is to tap “Show List” in the bottom-right corner, which brings up a full list of characters currently meeting Guests and where they’re located. Simply tap on the character you’re hoping to meet, and you’ll be able to see their meeting times for that day!
I also wanted to mention that while it’s not a traditional character meet-and-greet, you can still catch Moana sailing through the magic atop her beautifully decorated float during the nighttime parade,
Disney Starlight, at Magic Kingdom.
