Aloha Melissa!
Thanks for sailing by the Disney Parks Moms Panel! We love Moana and her spirit for adventure, unfortunately, that means that the seas have called her, and currently she does not have a permanent greeting place at Walt Disney World. I am hopeful that the stars will bring her back soon!
While we are waiting for her wayfinding adventures to be over, there are incredible adventures to be had in the spirit of ‘Ohana at the Walt Disney World Resort. Best friends Lilo and Stitch host the most delightful breakfast with a Polynesian twist at
‘Ohana at Disney’s Polynesian Resort. Our favorite dish is the Pua’a (Pork) - the pineapple compote is delish! When you have finished eating, stop by Moana’s Mercantile on the second floor of the Great Ceremonial House. You are sure to find fantastic oceanic themed mercantile!
Continuing in the spirit of Aloha, stop and enjoy an enchanting luau with Polynesian dancing, fire dancing, and an all-you-can-eat family-style feast at
Disney’s Spirit of Aloha Dinner Show. Auntie Wini hosts a spectacular luau in the open air theater in Luau Cove. The spellbinding performances feature dancing from all over the islands, including Tahiti, Samoa, and New Zealand. Reservations are highly recommended and can be made up to 180 days before your visit. You can book your reservation online, or by calling (407) WDW-DINE or (407) 939-3463.
Melissa, when Moana does return, the first place to announce a sighting of her outrigger canoe will be the
Disney Parks Blog. Once she is ready to return home, I know we will all be with her!
