Hei Hei Elizabeth!
Thanks for sailing by the Disney Parks Moms Panel. I love the legendary demigod
Maui almost as much as brave
Moana and her spirit for adventure. Unfortunately, the seas have called them, and they are off fulfilling another quest from the ancestors. So currently neither of them have a permanent greeting place at Walt Disney World. From your mouth to Te Fiti’s ears, hopefully, the stars will bring them back soon!
While they are quite busy on their
wayfinding adventures, there are sightings of them sprinkled like Pixie Dust throughout Walt Disney World! One of my favorite places to bask in the
Spirit of Aloha is at
Moana Mercantile in Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort. There you will find trinkets and snacks worthy of
Pua! Speaking of food, two of Moana’s good friends are at one of
my favorite breakfasts in all the ‘World. Lilo and Stitch would love for you and your ‘ohana to join them for a delicious meal! I highly recommend the Hawaiian ham with pineapple compote - YUM!
The Princess of Motunui has recently been spotted chEARing on the runners at the
Disney Princess Half Marathon, and she makes regular appearances across the country at Disney On Ice. But a guaranteed viewing is during
Happily Ever After’s Moana sequence. The sea will call you, and you might get a peek of Maui’s hook! And since
Moana is a fan of adventure, you might see her in the most epic of shows -
Fantasmic! at Disney’s Hollywood Studios.
Elizabeth, I’ll keep an eye out for the outrigger canoe, you keep an EAR out on
Disney Parks Blog. Hopefully, the line where the sky meets the sea brings Maui and Moana Home. Please feel free to float back by with any more questions!
