MNSSHP for 5yo son, but he is gluten, dairy, and tree nut free...will they have any treats available for him during trick or treating? First time coming to the party any suggestions on what to do first? He usually goes to bed at 8, hope he can stay up! :)

Hi, Amanda!  The treats available vary from year to year, but in years past, the cast members usually just reached into a barrel of mixed candies and put some in the bag.  Those candies you would have to go through and check carefully.  Also in previous years, they offered boxes of raisins at each trick or treat stop.

On the days we go to Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party, I try to have a relaxing day with the kids.  I don't rush them to get up in the morning, and we might opt to spend the afternoon at the pool or at Downtown Disney.  Plan your evening around which parade you want to see.  The second parade is usually way less crowded, and I find after the second parade, it's a great time to go back to some of our favorite attractions for a second ride and to hit the trick or treat stations.

I usually push for rides and attractions first, then we do trick or treating.  That way, I can fold up the treat bags and put them in my backpack while everyone enjoys the attractions, then before we head back to our resort, we do a loop around the park to trick or treat.  It saves me from carrying all the bags!

Have an awesome first time at Mickey's Not So Scary!
