    We are going to MNSSHP in September and my son is dying to be Spiderman this year for Halloween. Will they not allow him to wear his Spidey mask at the party? He is 6yrs old

    Hi Alysa!

    Welcome back.  I am thrilled to know you are finding our vacation planning advise useful as you chart out your upcoming adventure at Walt Disney World Resort.   I hope you have the BEST TRIP EVER!

    Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party is my favorite special ticketed event that takes place at Walt Disney World.  The Boo-to-You Halloween Parade is my favorite parade in any Disney Park and the Happy HalloWishes Fireworks takes my breath away each time I watch it.  I hope you enjoy the party as much I do.   The regulations for costumes from Disney state that children under the age of 13 can wear some masks as long as they do not cover the entire face and the eyes are visible.  I don't know exactly what your Spider Man costume looks like, so I can't say if it would fit into these guidelines or not.   I do suggest you wear a costume that is comfortable and pieces that are easy to carry.   I always end up carrying parts of my children's costumes about 2 hours into the party each year.  They get tired of carrying their light sabers or wearing their hats, so into Mom's bag they go.
