We will be going to MNSSHP in Sept. We have ADR at Tony's for 8pm. Will my kids miss a lot? I know there are 2 parades and we are planning on going to the later one. What will we be missing during dinner from 8-9pm?

Hi, Jessica!  Most of the party activities can be enjoyed both before and after your dining reservation.  The one thing I would be concerned about missing is Hallowishes, the fireworks show that takes place during the party.  The fireworks usually take place at 9:30, but if you are not seated right away at Tony's Town Square (which can happen if they are busy), you may run later than your one hour time frame.

They try to seat you as close to your reservation time as possible, and you can certainly tell your server that you would like to expedite your dinner service to ensure you are through in time for the fireworks.  Just be aware that dinner at this time does cut it close.

We usually try to do an early dinner - like around 5 o'clock on the day of the party.  Since your party tickets will allow you to enter the Magic Kingdom at 4 o'clock, this gives you time to have dinner and not miss any of the exciting party fun!  If that's an option for your family, you can call 407-WDW-DINE to check and see if there is a reservation available for an earlier meal.

You will probably be fine with the 8 o'clock reservation, but I like to make sure we have plenty of time to scope out a spot and be ready when the fireworks start!

Have a great time at the party!
