Hi! Is MNSSHP scary? (4 year old twins) Also, what's the best advice you can give us to have an extra special time??? What is not to be missed? It's our first time going to the party! Thank you!

    Hi Kristin!

Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party (MNSSHP) is definitely not scary, it's an evening filled with fun! This is hands-down my favorite event at Walt Disney World! This is a separately ticketed event, so the great news is that the park will be less crowded, as only guests with tickets to MNSSHP will be in the park.

You will enjoy Mickey's Boo-to-You Halloween Parade, which kicks off with the headless horseman running through Main Street. There are also special character meet 'n' greets, with characters you typically can't meet any other time of year, such as Lady Tremaine, Jafar and Jack Skellington. You will not want to miss this opportunity, as you may meet characters that don't make an appearance again!

You can also go trick-or-treating throughout the park, which both parents and kids enjoy!

Don't miss HalloWishes Fireworks show, which displays the fireworks to fun Disney songs, such as "Who's Afraid of the Big Bad Wolf" from the Three Little Pigs.

A few tips I have to make this event extra special:

    1. Let your twins dress up in a costume for the event
    2. Either visit Magic Kingdom the day of the event with your Magic Your Way ticket or visit Magic Kingdom as soon MNSSHP ticket holders are allowed in (4:00 p.m.) This will ensure you can maximize your time at the event.
    3. Buy Memory Maker prior to your trip so you can enjoy all of the fun pictures you will take during this event.

    Magically,
    Stacy
