Hi Megan,
Disney World is extra magical during Fall with Halloween events, fall-themed decorations, specialty food items, and festivals.
Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party is the perfect event to celebrate the upcoming holiday with little ones. They get to trick-or-treat, take pictures with their favorite characters, and watch the Boo-to-You Halloween Parade. The parade is a must-do for my family!
Disney's Not So Spooky Spectacular Fireworks Dessert Party is a fun way to make sure you have guaranteed seating and themed desserts and drinks while you enjoy the nightly fireworks. Unfortunately, there is no flexibility around check-in for this party. You can only attend the event that you have reservations for. You can begin checking in one hour before the event begins and this should line up with the timing of the fireworks show. I always check the calendar to see when the planned time is for the date I am attending. For October 15th, it looks like the fireworks are set to begin at 10 PM so check-in would be around 9 PM. You should be able to grab a spot close to where check-in is located to watch the 8:15 parade and then head straight over to the party when the parade ends.
If you do not think this will end up working for some of the guests in your travel party, don't forget that you must cancel ahead of time if you want a refund for the event. There is a
one-day cancellation policy and if you do not cancel more than 1 day in advance you will be charged the full price of the event.
During your visit, don't forget to check out the
EPCOT International Food and Wine Festival! It is an epic event with food, wine, and cocktails throughout EPCOT that are unique and delicious. There are also fun surprises for the little ones in your group like
Remy's Ratatouille Hide and Squeak where they can hunt for statues of their furry friend throughout the theme park.
Happy Haunting,
Jenna
