Hi Michael!
Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party is such a fun way to get into the Halloween Spirit at the
Walt Disney World Resort! I absolutely love admiring all of the magical costumes Guests create to wear for this pixie-dusted occasion!
Luckily,
the guidelines about masks and toy swords during Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party are pretty clear! All Guests must wear costumes that are family-friendly and may not contain any sharp objects that could accidentally strike another Guest. Guests are also not allowed to carry weapons that could be mistaken for a real weapon. That being said, plastic light sabers and toy swords are allowed! For guests ages 13 and under, masks can be worn, as long as the mask does not cover the entire face and the eyes are visible. For Guests ages 14 and older, masks of any kind are not allowed, but headwear is allowed as long as it doesn’t cover the face.
When creating your magnificently magical costumes, make sure you keep in mind that the temperatures at the Walt Disney World Resort can still get pretty hot, even later in the year, so make sure that you have a way to keep cool! I recommend wearing layers (just in case the evenings get a bit cooler), and always bringing a water bottle! The main rule you should remember when deciding what to wear is that you want to be able to have fun and stay safe. By keeping this in mind, other Guests around you will also be able to have fun and stay safe so that you can all have a perfectly pixie-dusted party experience!
Have a Great Big Beautiful Tomorrow!
