How much is the MNSSHP for adults n kids? Also am I making a mistake by having reservations for Chef Mickey the same day as MNSSHP @ 5pm. Should I stay in park and use a sit down meal credit for lunch and not waste time sitting and eating for dinner?

    Hi Shana!

You are going to LOVE Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party (MNSSHP!) It is my favorite special event at Walt Disney World!

The prices of MNSSHP vary depending upon the date. While the prices have not yet been announced for 2012, I saw a complete listing of the prices from 2011 on wdwinfo.com/holidays/halloween.htm#tickets. This will provide you with an idea of what the pricing might be for 2012. The prices range from $54-$73 per adult (ages 10 and up) and $47-$67 per child (ages 3-9) in 2011.

If you plan to also purchase a ticket to the park to tour Magic Kingdom prior to 7:00p.m. (the time that MNSSHP begins), I would recommend canceling the reservation for Chef Mickey's on the day of MNSSHP and make an Advanced Dining Reservation for 2:00 or 3:00 within the Magic Kingdom so that you can have "linner" (as we call a combination of lunch and dinner in my house) and not have to eat a meal during the party.

During MNSSHP the dining options are limited, as not all Quick Service (QS) and Table Service (TS) locations are open. You will want to spend the time during the party meeting the characters, trick-or-treating and watching the special parade, rather than sitting down to eat.

    Magically,
    Stacy
