Hi. I have my MNSSH party tickets purchased and park tickets with a resort package. I would like my tickets and the party to show in "MyPlans" on the app with the party information but I can't get it to "add to my plans."

    Hi Jeane!

    Welcome to planDisney!

I’m currently planning a trip, and I know exactly what you’re talking about! I’ve been having the same issue in the My Plans section, but I’ve figured out a workaround that can hopefully help you organize your trip, too.

First of all, you should be able to find all of your park tickets (including the one for Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party) by clicking the 3 lines in the bottom right corner of your My Disney Experience app, then clicking My Tickets & Passes. If you don’t see your tickets, click the (+) button in the top right corner, then click Link Tickets & Passes and follow the prompts.

Now for the My Plans section! At this time, Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party will not show up in that section. I have an After Hours event planned for my trip, and even as my trip is getting closer, it’s still not showing up there. Instead, I’ve added it to that section by adding a note.

To do so, visit Disney World’s website and click My Disney Experience. As you scroll down to the My Plans, Reservations, and Tickets section, you’ll see the button (+) Add More Plans. Click that button, then click Notes and fill in any details you’d like. After adding in the note, you’ll be able to see it on that date in the My Plans section of your My Disney Experience app.

As far as your parks go, as you make dining reservations and book Lightning Lanes, the app will automatically show the park you’re visiting. Once the park shows up, you can click the Add Preferences button to customize your day even more by using the Disney Genie service. There are times I’ve noticed the Disney Genie service show up on the homepage of the app as my trip gets closer, but it isn’t there consistently.

Of course, you can always add a note, as I explained above, if you’d like to put in which park you’ll be visiting on each day. I know being able to visualize it in My Plans really helps me!

This information is subject to change, as the My Disney Experience app could update at any time. But for now, this is what’s been working for me, so I hope that helps!
