Going to MNNSHP for the first time! Heard the parade and fireworks are some of the best WDW has to offer. Wondering what times they usually are and the best places to see them. Going on Sep 14th w/DS (2,4,7). Thanks you guys are absolutly amazing! :)

    Hi Celeste,

Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party is great fun and you're right, the parade and fireworks are a big part of what makes the party so fantastic.

The exact schedule of 2012 party events has not yet been released, but typically the parade will run twice, at 8:15 and 10:30. The fireworks will typically be shown at 9:30.

My personal favorite spot for viewing the fireworks on the platform above the train station at the base of Main Street. This gives an elevated view of the park as well as the show in the sky. For the parade, the viewing is fine anywhere along the route. Because the number of party tickets is limited, there are a somewhat reduced number of guests in the parks. I've never had trouble finding a viewing spot, even if I show up to watch just a few minutes in advance.

Have a wonderful time at the party!
