    Hi Matilde!

Thanks for stopping by the Moms Panel and asking us a question! I'll be happy to try and help you out with your questions!!

Each person in your traveling party who is 3 or older, you will receive a "Key to the World" card. These cards are printed with each guests name and has a place where the card can be signed (like a credit card). These are your room keys. If you have purchased park tickets or the dining plan, these will also be your park tickets and will hold your meal plan credits.

If you choose, you can also add charging privileges to your card by leaving a credit card on file with the resort. For children, you can choose to allow them to charge by asking for this to be added to their Key to the World card. However, by default, children's cards do not allow this and will be printed with "Not Valid for Charging".

Each Key to the World card should be signed. Usually, you will not need separate identification for charging, but occasionally you may be asked to show ID if a purchase is above a certain dollar amount.

They do not have a hole for a lanyard to clip on, but they do fit in plastic pouches attached to lanyards.

If you do lose one, you should immediately let Guest Services at the resort or at the Theme Park know. They can help you deactivate the old cards and issue new ones.

    Hope this helps!
