Hello, Marcela!
Thanks for bringing your great dining question to the Disney Parks Moms Panel. With your trip just around the corner, I am sure you must be feeling a little anxious about
making dining reservations to accommodate your large travel party. You mentioned in your question that you are interested in dining at Chef Mickey's and Cinderella's Royal Table. Both of these popular character dining locations tend to fill to capacity well in advance, even for smaller dining parties.
If you haven't already, I suggest calling the Walt Disney World Resort dining line to inquire about your options. A friendly Cast Member can check for availability at several character dining locations while you wait. If you are open to other dining experiences during your trip, you may be able to secure a last-minute reservation for your group at a number of other dining locations at the Walt Disney World Resort, depending on availability.
When I travel with extended family, I tend to prefer keeping a more flexible schedule, especially if there are large age gaps in our group. There are some really delicious quick service options at Magic Kingdom Park that your group can enjoy without reservations. My family's favorites are Cosmic Ray's Starlight Cafe, Pecos Bill Tall Tale Inn & Cafe, and Pinocchio Village Haus.
I hope you have a wonderful Walt Disney World vacation, Marcela! Please don't hesitate to stop back by the Moms Panel if we can help you with any other last-minute preparations. Have a magical day!
