Hi Jennifer,
How exciting to be visiting
Magic Kingdom Park in August! When I first started visiting
Walt Disney World Resort with my children, I would book a Character Dining experience for breakfast. However, I quickly realized that we were not taking advantage of riding the attractions when the lines are traditionally shorter and would find myself wanting to quickly get through the meal. Since then, I prefer to book our Table-Service meals during lunch or dinner so that we can take a break from park touring and enjoy a more relaxing meal.
I enjoyed a lovely dinner at
Cinderella's Royal Table last month and found the overall experience to take approximately 90 minutes. With that being said, I recommend changing your Advanced Dining Reservation to 4:15 p.m. in order to experience many of the most popular attractions first thing in the morning with little to no wait.
I hope this information has been helpful in making the best decision for your family. If you have any additional questions, please don't hesitate to visit us again. Best wishes for a magical trip, Jennifer!
Happy Planning,
Jodie
