    Hello! Going to MK for one day. Should we go on a day with extra evening magic hours or go on a different day. We also plan on going to one of the water parks. I see EMH for Mk are on a Saturday is this a good time to go? Traveling in June

    Hello, April! Any time is a good time to visit Walt Disney World, but I will admit that in my personal experience, some days can be better than others. You mentioned that you are considering a visit to Magic Kingdom Park on a day with Extra Magic Hours, which also happens to be a Saturday. There are benefits to visiting the parks with Extra Magic Hours, like smaller crowds and shorter waits during the Extra Magic Hour timeframe, so it really comes down to personal preference.

    Personally, I prefer to visit the Disney Parks on the day after Extra Magic Hours have been offered. I have found that overall crowds tend to be a bit lighter on these days because many Guests have visited that park the day before with the extended hours. My family and I tend to plan several short (1-4 day) vacations to Walt Disney World, and that is what has worked best for us.

    You also asked if Saturday is a good day to visit Magic Kingdom Park. Weekdays (including Friday) are generally better days to visit Magic Kingdom Park as far as crowd level goes. Since you are visiting in June and many schools in the United States will likely be closed for summer break, the weekday vs. weekend crowd levels won't really be affected as much as other times of the year, but it's still worth noting.
