At MK Nov 28-dinner at Ohana 5:30. Is dessert party worth the cost in order to see Wishes that night w/o having to find a place? We also have tickets to MVMCP on Dec 1st. Middle-aged couple w/o kids. Thanks for all your help.

    Janet,

I have not been personally, but I got a report from Disney Mom Margaret. Here are some things to consider.

    • The fireworks view is great, and this is a really great opportunity for a special occasion.
    • The desserts are a pretty nice spread, with several options. Lots of yummies!
    • You can't see the parade particularly well, so don't consider it a venue to experience Spectromagic.
    • For the price paid you get a reserved table, which is nice, but you really don't watch the fireworks from there. Instead you go to the railing, which is fine.
Based on that and other information, I would say that it is a FANTASTIC experience, one that is great if you are visiting at a busy time of the year (which you are) to get an assured view without fighting for it. The cost is a bit on the high side, however, so if budget is a consideration, it is probably not your best call.

    In your case, do it.

For others visiting at a lighter time of the year, save the money, buy a Mickey Bar, and catch the show from somewhere else!

Have a magical (and delicious) vacation!
