Happy New Year, Melanie! I am so glad you stopped by planDisney on your way to celebrate the start of 2025 at the Most Magical Place on Earth!
I was so excited to see
Disney After Hours return this year. I am missing this first one by a few days for runDisney Marathon Weekend. Oh well! I now have a reason for another trip, right?
I have been to
Magic Kingdom to enjoy this event and have been there during the day without an event ticket. I am pleased to say that Cast Members did not usher us out early. I am always racing to get in one last attraction to end the day, sometimes entering the queue with seconds to spare and my heart racing from skipping to make it in time. It was no different the night I was leaving before the After Hours began. I was in line at 9:59 p.m. and saw Cast Members asking to see wristbands starting at 10. Experiences can always vary, but the only difference to me was people entering the park as I was exiting. I am usually among the last to leave.
You should have a full day from 9 a.m. until 10 p.m. to leave today and enter the worlds of yesterday, tomorrow and fantasy. According to the
calendar, the
Festival of Fantasy Parade will delight the park at 3 p.m. and
Happily Ever After will light up the sky at 8 p.m. You don't have to miss a thing!
And if you happen to stop by the
Main Street Confectionery, could you ask them to save a Willie's Sweetest Spoon popcorn bowl for me? I'm sure there will be plenty, but dreams of this popcorn perfection have motivated me to run the marathon. I'm counting on it to get me to the Finish Line.
In all seriousness, I hope you have a wonderful trip and make the most of every moment! If you have any other questions, please come back. You have a friend in
planDisney!
Cheers!
Jana
