Welcome back to the Moms Panel, Jana! I'm glad to see you're hard at work researching for your vacation this spring! Magic Kingdom Park's
Happily Ever After nighttime fireworks show is not to be missed in my humble opinion, but what I like even more than the fireworks, are the incredibly vibrant castle projections (the scenes from
The Hunchback of Notre Dame are my favorite). You are smart to consider booking a
Fireworks Dessert Party for this show- it's perfect for guests who want the best view of Cinderella Castle with the least amount of stress from having to stake out a spot hours ahead of time.
There are now three options (and two viewing locations) being offered. We chose the one with the Plaza Garden Viewing with the Dessert Party beforehand. I just looked at the time stamps on my photos, and it shows we checked in by 7:45 PM. Around 8:25, a Cast Member led us to the grassy Hub area where we sat comfortably and waited for the show to begin at 9:15. When you check in, you’ll receive a paper wristband that indicates you’re attending, so you can come and go as often as you’d like from the viewing area. We felt like the food was plentiful, and my Mouseketeers loved the Create Your Own Sundae Dessert Station! I've also heard they've added some delicious savory items since we visited (those Taco Egg Rolls are calling my name).
I'm so excited for you, Jana! If you have any more planning questions, please ask. We want you to have the most magical vacation possible!
