Going to MK Dec 18 & 19. We had planned to skip the parade on the 18 and ride rides during the lower crowds and watch it on the 19th. Now I see it's Fantasy 18 and Christmas on 19. Are they very different? Would we be missing out not to see the

    Hi there Krista!

Your Walt Disney World vacation will be here before you know it!  My family just visited the Walt Disney World Resort over Thanksgiving week and had the pleasure of watching both Disney Festival of Fantasy Parade and Mickey's Once Upon A Christmastime Parade, which was offered during Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party. Historically, the Disney Festival of Fantasy Parade is temporarily replaced with Mickey's Once Upon A Christmastime Parade starting the day after the last Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party. I have always found both parades to be great, but very different. Based on my own personal experience, I would not want to miss either parade if at all possible.

I hope this information is helpful in making the best decision for your family. Please don't hesitate to stop by again with any additional questions that you may have. Best wishes for a magical and merry trip, Krista!

    Happy Planning,
    Jodie
