    We are going to MK on a day that it closes at 7pm. We have ADR at 7:40 at Captain's Grille. Is it possible to make it in time to Captain's Grille if we wait to leave the park at 7? What is the best mode of transportation from MK to the rest.? Thanks!

    Hey Heidi!  I would love to assist a fellow Georgian!  I enjoyed a delicious lunch at Captain's Grille this past December!  I honestly think it will be very difficult for you to make your Advanced Dining Reservation on time if you wait and leave Magic Kingdom at 7:00 p.m. (park closing)  Because you will be exiting the park with many other guests simultaneously, you may find it to be very congested walking out of the park and there will be many guests waiting to board the Disney transportation. We usually allow ourselves 45 minutes to one hour when traveling on property via the Disney transportation. I completely understand wanting to stay up until park closing especially since Magic Kingdom closes at 7:00 p.m.  I would recommend trying to modify your Advanced Dining Reservation at Captain's Grlll to 8:00 p.m. or later to give you ample time to exit the park and travel to Disney's Yacht Club Resort. The best route for traveling to the Yacht Club Resort from Magic Kingdom is via the Disney bus transportation.
