MK closes Oct 9 at 6:00 pm for a special ticketed event. Our dinner res is 5:55 in the park. Do we have to buy the extra ticket for the Halloween party to be able to make our reservation?

    Hi, Kelly!

As long as your dining reservation occurs prior to the official closing time of the Magic Kingdom, you can enjoy your dinner without having to purchase a ticket for Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party. The party begins at 7:00 PM, and the Magic Kingdom closes an hour before, so you're really fine.

Don't worry about rushing through your meal, either. You won't be asked to leave before the party begins, so enjoy your meal at a leisurely pace. You won't even be raced out of the theme park when you are finished. Although you will be unable to enjoy the party festivities without a party ticket, you can still grab a last minute souvenir or a Mickey ice cream bar on your way out.

    Thanks for visiting us, Kelly!
