    If in MK on Christmas party day what time must you leave as I would hate the embarrassment of being escorted out😳

    Welcome to planDisney! I read your question and I knew I found a kindred spirit. The fear of discipline is embedded into me as well and as a staunch rule follower, I am eager to help you avoid any embarrassment. 

    Dear friend, Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party is a holiday tradition at Walt Disney World Resort that officially starts at 7 pm and ends at 12 am the next day. (Wow, way past my bedtime!) Magic Kingdom Park tends to close at 6 pm on these special event evenings to all guests who do not have the special party wristband. You will not be caught by surprise as there will be several loud announcements informing guests that the party is starting and that those who do not have a ticket need to leave. As 6 pm approaches and definitely once it arrives, you may even see Cast Members slowly start gently guiding guests to the exits. However, if you wish to avoid this encounter, be on your way out well before 6 pm. The Hours & Events Calendar will confirm all of this as the date approaches. 

    The dates for the party have been announced and tickets go on sale next week for guests with Resort Reservations and the week after for everyone else! These parties do sell out and are a lot of fun. I know you want to escape but maybe consider checking it out during your holiday!
