Hi, Missy. I read your answer to a question about unlinking a ticket. Your response was to reassign it. What if the person you are reassigning it to has a different Disney account and wants to be in charge of their plans? Will this still work?

    Hi Melissa,

Welcome to planDisney, and thanks so much for bringing me a follow-up question after reading one of my earlier answers! We love when Guests engage with us and give us the opportunity to be part of their Disney-planning experiences!

The good news is that yes, you should be able to reassign an unused theme park ticket to any Guest as long as you're linked together via the Family & Friends list within My Disney Experience. It's fine if the Guest has their own My Disney Experience account and manages their plans themselves, although if that's the case, do note that once you reassign the ticket to them, you will no longer have the ability to reassign it to someone else. It will be in their possession at that point, and they'll be the one with the ability to reassign it further, if necessary. I'm sending pixie dust that you'll be able to manage your ticket transfer with no problems, but if you need any assistance, please don't hesitate to contact a friendly Cast Member for help.

Whether you're planning a Disney adventure that's just around the riverbend or simply dreaming about one down the road, please don't hesitate to come back and see us any time at planDisney, Melissa. We're always here and happy to help!
