Hi Missy, I am getting so excited for our Disney vacation just reading these posts! My 11 and 6 year old sons are wondering what might be new at Disneyworld since June of 2017? We will be going to Magic Kingdom, Hollywood Studios and Epcot. Thank you!

    Hi Jaimie,

I am SO excited to hear that you'll soon be returning to "The Most Magical Place on Earth!" I don't know about you, but when I pass through those welcome gates for another Walt Disney World Resort vacation, I just about BURST with excitement and anticipation!

My family loves to combine both favorite traditions and brand new experiences on each Disney vacation, and I'd be happy to share some of the new things to give you something else to look forward as you count down the days until your vacation! First, I'm assuming you saw Happily Ever After on your trip in 2017, but if you missed it, you HAVE to see it on this trip. Watching the castle come to life with so many beloved Disney characters and stories, being thrilled by the fireworks and lasers all around, and feeling the emotion through the incredible music gives me chills every time. Other new things at Magic Kingdom Park since your last visit include an update to The Hall of Presidents and all of the fun of Mickey & Minnie's Surprise Celebration, including the Move It! Shake It! Mousekedance It! Street Party and the chance to meet Mickey and Minnie together in adorable outfits at Town Square Theater. At Epcot, you'll find an out of this world concert, Guardians of the Galaxy - Awesome Mix Live!, returning for its second summer. It's Disney's Hollywood Studios, however, where you'll find the most changes. Your whole family will LOVE playing in Andy's backyard in Toy Story Land. Two brand new attractions, Slinky Dog Dash and Alien Swirling Saucers are tons of fun, and the new dining location, Woody's Lunch Box, puts a delicious spin on lunchbox classics. Of course, we can't forget about Lightning McQueen's Racing Academy and Wonderful World of Animation - two new shows that just debuted this year that I bet your boys will love! While not an attraction, I would be remiss if I didn't tell you about the new way to get around in style. Minnie Vans are an adorable ride service that can take you anywhere you want to go within the Walt Disney World Resort through the ease of the Lyft app, so feel free to give those a try, too!

Thanks so much for bringing me your great question, Jaimie, and please let me know if I can help with anything else. I hope that you and your Mouseketeers have a truly magical vacation this summer!
