Ahoy, Alba! Welcome to
planDisney, and thank you for your questions.
Disney Cruise Line remains diligent when it comes to the health and safety of guests and crew, so I want to begin my answer by encouraging you to follow the
Know Before You Go section on the website. While my information is as up to the minute as it can be, things may change by the time you book your voyage on one of the beautiful
Disney ships.
Beginning October 14, 2022, Disney Cruise Line will
no longer require guests to be fully vaccinated, although vaccination is highly recommended. This applies to the Disney Wish, Disney Dream, Disney Fantasy, and Disney Wonder. Beginning November 7th, 2022, this will also apply to the Disney Magic.
Unvaccinated guests will be required to provide proof of a negative COVID-19 test 1 to 2 days prior to sailing. Vaccinated guests will not be required to be tested prior to sailing.
Travel documents can be a bit tricky. Guests are permitted to use birth certificates on what are called "closed loop" cruises to the Bahamas and Mexico. These are cruises that begin from and end at a port in the United States. What they will need is an original or official copy of a birth certificate, and if the guest is over 15, government-issued photo identification. The birth certificate cannot be the one issued by the hospital.
I hope you are soon planning a magical Disney Cruise Line adventure, Alba!
