Are minors allowed in La Cava del Tequila. Our 3 year old son will be with us but we wanted to stop in to get a margarita. Also can you take the drinks to go?

    Hiya David,

It is great to see you back at planDisney. You picked a fantastic place to grab a cold adult beverage. I have been visiting La Cava del Tequila since it opened and consider it a must-do on every Walt Disney World Resort vacation.

Located inside the Mexico Pavilion in EPCOT's World Showcase, Guests can select from over 200 tequilas, Mexican beer and wine and top-shelf cocktails. My favorite is the La Cava Avocado - amazing! The good news is your son will be able to join you at the lounge. While there is not a full menu, we have been able to snack on freshly made guacamole, salsa, chips and tapas which your son may enjoy. There are only a handful of tables inside the lounge, and it is extremely popular, so you may want to arrive early if you are hoping to stay a while. If tables are not available and you prefer to keep moving, you will be able to take your drink to go.

Don't forget to enjoy a relaxing boat ride down the Rio Grande in the Gran Fiesta Tour Starring The Three Caballeros. They may need your help finding Donald Duck as he often wanders off. I hope you all have a great time. Don't forget to stop back and see me if you have any additional questions.

    With pixie dust,
    Margaret
