Hi, Lynne! Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel.
I had an opportunity to use Disney’s
Minnie Van Service from my
Walt Disney World Resort hotel to
Disney Springs a few months ago, and I absolutely loved the experience! Our Minnie Van was impeccably clean, our driver was knowledgeable and friendly (and even let us choose the Disney-themed radio station), and our ride was quick and comfortable. I’ve also used the traditional Lyft service for transportation around Walt Disney World Resort and even though the Minnie Van Service does cost a little more, to me it is definitely worth it.
If you’d like to compare prices, open the Lyft app on your smartphone and put in a Walt Disney World Resort location in the “Search destination” box at the bottom of the screen. For example, you could put in “
Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort” as your “Current location” and then “
Disney Springs” as your destination. The first options you’ll see will be for an “Economy” car with four seats. If you swipe left, though, you’ll see additional options for “Extra Seats” and “Luxury.” You’ll find “Minnie Van” on the final screen under “More.” Here you’ll see the price displayed while the map at the top of the screen will indicate the travel time between your destinations.
Keep in mind that time of day and distance traveled affect the prices displayed in the Lyft app, and prices between now and your
Walt Disney World Resort visit are always subject to change. You’ll also only be able to use the Minnie Van Service while on Walt Disney World Resort property (although it is possible to hire a private Minnie Van for airport transportation, too).
I hope you get to experience this awesome option, Lynne. Whether you’re trying to catch a pre-park opening breakfast or just want a quick and easy travel option at the end of a long day in the Theme Parks, Disney’s Minnie Van Service will get you there in style and with a smile.
Please let us know if you have any other questions, Lynne. We hope to see you real soon!
Amy
