Hi Jennifer, and welcome to planDisney! Minnie Van Service is such a convenient way to travel around Disney World… and definitely the most stylish. So let’s chat about taking it between
Disney Springs and
Magic Kingdom.
Minnie Van Service currently runs from 6:30 a.m. to 12:30 a.m. daily and is available from Disney Springs to Magic Kingdom. However, Disney Springs’ operating hours don’t generally start until 10:00 a.m., though security opens earlier since some spots, like
Starbucks, begin business at 9:00 a.m. But depending on how early you want to head to Magic Kingdom, Disney Springs may not be the best place to pick up a Minnie Van. Be sure to double check the
Hours & Events Calendar for the current hours.
If you’re staying at a Disney resort hotel, like the nearby
Saratoga Springs Resort, you can request Minnie Van Service through the Lyft app starting right at 6:30 a.m. You can also use
complimentary Disney transportation, which varies by resort hotel. If you're staying offsite, you can drive or take a regular ride-share service to get to Magic Kingdom. You'll park or get dropped off at the Transportation and Ticket Center, where you'll board a
monorail or
ferryboat to get to Magic Kingdom. My family likes to think of it as the first ride of the day!
While you’re at Magic Kingdom, I definitely recommend staying to see
Disney Starlight in the evening. Seeing the sparkling floats is the perfect way to end a magical Disney day! This week, there are two showtimes scheduled each day, and I usually like to see the second one since it’s typically less crowded. My favorite viewing spot is around the Town Square area (
by the Main Street, U.S.A. train station). If you get there 30-45 minutes early, you might even be able to snag a seated spot on the edge of the sidewalk!
I hope you have a pixie-dusted visit to Disney World this weekend! And if you have any other questions, you’re always welcome back at planDisney.
