Hi Kayleah!
Welcome to planDisney! Vacationing with little ones at
The Most Magical Place on Earth is truly an unforgettable treat. There's something so special about watching your child's face light up as they meet their favorite characters or experience an attraction for the first time. Personally, some of my most cherished moments are watching my boys' reactions more than the attractions themselves—those priceless smiles and wide eyes create core memories that I'll treasure forever!
The Minnie Van Service, operated through the Lyft app, is a fantastic option for families traveling around Walt Disney World Resort with ease and comfort. Knowledgeable and friendly Disney Cast Members drive these vehicles and come equipped with up to two complimentary convertible car seats. My fellow planDisney panelist,
Lauren H., and various online sources have echoed the same information: the car seat model utilized by Minnie Vans is the Graco 4Ever seat. These seats are incredibly versatile, accommodating children as they grow, and can function as a highback booster for kids weighing 40-100 pounds (per the manufacturer). While the Graco 4Ever seats can technically convert into backless boosters, they're only used in their convertible or highback booster configurations within Minnie Vans, as Cast Members won't be able to break the seat down further.
One of the best features of the Minnie Van Service is its exclusive access to special drop-off and pick-up points throughout the resort. Unlike other rideshare services, Minnie Vans can get you closer to the entrances of parks and resorts. This perk is invaluable for early morning
Character Dining reservations or when you're ready to head back after a long, fun-filled day at the parks and want to minimize walking.
Since you'll be traveling with younger children, I have to share how helpful the
Baby Care Centers can be during your visit. These centers provide comfortable spaces for changing and feeding, and they're also stocked with essentials like sunscreen, children's medicine, wipes, and more. When I toured the Baby Care Centers with my
Sweet 16 classmate,
Jennifer S., I was impressed by how convenient they were for families with children of all ages. While I have a soft spot for the one at Disney's Animal Kingdom, all four locations are thoughtfully designed to make your day easier.
I hope this helps answer your question, Kayleah! If you have any additional questions, please
don't hesitate to reach out. I'd happily whistle while I work to give you my best Disney planning advice.
See you real soon!
