Is there a minimum purchase per person at sit down restaurants? We have some light eaters in our family.

    Hiya Carol,

It is wonderful to see you back at planDisney. One of our favorite parts of planning our next Walt Disney World Resort vacation is selecting which restaurants we want to dine at. There are so many amazing choices that it is always hard to choose. I think we would need a 3 month vacation to hit all of our favorites. And do not even get me started on how many months we would then need to enjoy all of our favorite meals at those locations.

The good news is most Disney World restaurants do not require a minimum purchase. This means that you would be welcome to order a beverage an appetizer or dessert and would not have to order a full three course meal to enjoy the restaurant. So whether you are a light eater, or simply munched on a few too many snacks that afternoon (trust me-it happens), you can opt for a salad over a full meal with no worries. The only exception to this would be restaurants that feature buffet or prix fixe service, as they only offer full meal options and Guests would need to pay the listed price regardless of how much they choose to eat. My one suggestion is to remember to be courteous to the Cast Members waiting on you should you choose to dine lightly as they are working hard to deliver a fantastic experience no matter what you select off the menu.

I hope this helps you all have a wonderful mealtime experience. If I can help with any additional planning questions, please stop back and see me

Hope to see ya real soon,
