Hello there, Craig! Welcome to planDisney. You've asked a fabulous question, and I'm happy to indulge you with some answers!
21 Royal, discretely tucked away above the
Pirates of the Caribbean attraction, is Disneyland Resort's most exclusive dining experience, with a price tag to match. Walt and his beloved wife Lillian intended this to be their upgraded in-park residence, but construction was halted after his death. Most recently, this was the space known previously as the Dream Suite.
This 5-hour culinary adventure was created for groups of up to twelve guests. You can certainly have fewer than that, but the cost will remain the same since it is a flat fee. The price includes a seven-course meal, wine pairings, drinks, tax, and gratuity. In the past, it has also included Park Hopper tickets for all 12 guests and valet parking at
Disney's Grand Californian Hotel & Spa.
The evening begins with a cocktail hour in the beautiful courtyard; I've heard rave reviews of the Lilly Belle Sour, their specialty gin fizz. While there is no set dinner menu, you can expect dishes to include the highest quality ingredients such as caviar, wagyu beef, bison, and king crab. You'll get to cap off the night with a showing of
Fantasmic! from the private balcony before returning to your seat for a very special gift bag.
This experience books out far in advance, and the only way to make a reservation is by calling the 21 Royal Concierge at (714) 300-7749. Expect to leave a detailed message, and it may take them several days to return your call. I'm sending a little faith, trust, and pixie dust your way that it all works out. And I'll make sure I'm available if you need an extra guest!
Have a great time, Craig, and come see us again real soon!
