What is the minimum age that children can go on rides without an adult?

    Hello Patricia,

As my oldest princess is nearing the teenage years, I too was curious about your question and found out some information about age requirements at Walt Disney World that I think will be most helpful.

To answer your question, all ride guest policies are, "Children under age 7 years must be accompanied by a person age 14 years or older." As for unaccompanied children entering a Walt Disney World theme park, "Children under age 14 must be accompanied by a Guest age 14 or older to enter the following Walt Disney World parks and locations." I hope this is helpful and am happy to see families continuing to return with their children as they grow older, so many new and fun experiences are to be had as they continue to grow.

Enjoy your upcoming stay at Walt Disney World and continue to visit us at the Disney Parks Moms Panel for any further pixie dusted assistance.

Meet the Panelist: Amy, Virginia

I am a Dreamer who has always believed dreams are meant to be the path to your future. Walt Disney, I believe, felt the same way, "All our dreams can come true, if we have the courage to pursue them." Disney has always been proof that endless imagination and the passion to make them come to fruition is possible. I will never be to old for Disney, it is home to all of us Dreamers.
