In the mini-fridges at Port Orleans Riverside is there a freezer section to keep an ice pack cold? Also how big are the shampoo, conditioners, and body wash containers? Thanks.

Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Sharon!

Being raised in southern Louisana myself, I feel right at home with the theming at Disney's Port Orleans Resort - Riverside. This resort is divided into two distinct sections: Alligator Bayou and Magnolia Bend. The rooms in Alligator Bayou recently underwent a "soft good" refurbishment, with updated bedding and furniture, giving the rooms a more modern feel while still reflecting that Southern Charm.

I'm happy to report that all the Guest rooms do indeed have a mini-fridge, but unfortunately, they do not have a separate freezer section. A suggestion that has worked for me is to fill a freezer bag with ice at the ice machines, take it to your room, and keep your ice packs in it in the fridge overnight.

With the refurbishment, Disney has installed wall-mounted pump dispensers for conditioner, shampoo, and body wash. They are from the Disney Resort line called H2O and are the Bath Aquatics Natural Spring scent. I'm not sure of the exact size, but Mousekeeping will make sure to replenish the supply every few days. If you stay in an area of the resort that is yet to be refurbished, you may receive the H2O products in 2-ounce travel sizes.

Enjoy your stay, Sharon! Make sure to take time for the relaxing Sassagoula River Cruise to Disney Springs while you're visiting!
