Hello there, Jill! I am glad you
putted by planDisney with this question. It's a pleasure to meet you and share my adoration for a round of the only kind of golf I know how to play: mini.
At
Walt Disney World Resort, you have two miniature golf options:
Fantasia Gardens and Fairways and
Winter Summerland. Each has a choice of two courses. At Fantasia, my family overestimated our skill and tried the Fantasia Fairways course (the tougher one). Next time, it will be the Fantasia Gardens for us.
Winter Summerland has a winter and summer course. The holiday-inspired theme and obstacles are so much fun! I can listen to Christmas music all year, and there is something especially fun about being surrounded by a snowy winter in Orlando. Personally, I love the summer course with its seasonal songs with their island flair. The laid back vibe helps counter my family's intense competitive style.
In my experience, you can just show up and get on the list to play, but you may have to wait. The easiest thing to do is to call once you are at the Most Magical Place on Earth. Typically, if you call the day before, you can reserve a tee time. You might want to call two days before, to make sure, but I've never had an issue with one day of advance planning.
I'm not sure when your trip is, but if you are traveling between April 28 to June 16, 2025, Winter Summerland will be undergoing refurbishment. One course will be open for play, but you won't be able to reserve tee times ahead of time.
One other note: If you have the
Disney Magic Tickets, make sure you read the details. It looks like you can enjoy one round per day before 4 p.m. It's a practically perfect way to spend your day!
Jill, I hope there is a hole-in-one in your future! If we can help with any other questions, please
swing back by
planDisney.
Good Luck, and May the
Course be With You!
