Hi Dannielle! Welcome to planDisney!
While Walt Disney World is known for its theme parks, there is so much more to do during your stay. There are multiple
golf courses and
miniature golf courses spread out across the Resort. You can go
horseback riding at one of the Disney Resorts Hotels, or get out on the water for a
fishing excursion as you mentioned in your question. The options are truly endless.
After speaking with a Cast Member, you'll need to
call the Walt Disney World Resort to make a reservation. They will provide up-to-date availability for the dates you are visiting and let you know what your options are. Pricing may vary depending on the exact time and date that you book along with how long of an excursion you decide on. Currently, you can choose between a 2-hour and 4-hour trip, although you may be able to add additional time when you arrive at the marina (subject to availability).
Currently pricing for a 2-hour excursion is $270 USD while a 4-hour trip will cost $455 USD. Keep in mind that pricing is subject to change at any time, so I suggest confirming this information when calling to make your reservation. There are two boat options available, one being a pontoon boat that fits up to five and the other a tournament-style NITRO® bass fishing boat that can take up to three Guests. You will be provided with an experienced guide, which can be a big help. I don't know much about fishing myself, so having someone there to assist is greatly appreciated. Solo anglers may have an option to book an afternoon excursion at a reduced rate, although you will need to confirm this when calling as well.
Dannielle, I hope you have a magical time during your upcoming visit! With your arrival at the end of May, you can still catch a few days of the
EPCOT International Flower & Garden Festival. This is one of my favorite times to visit with all the beautiful flower displays and creative topiaries featured around the park.
See ya real soon!
