Hello and welcome (back) to planDisney, Emily. We're so glad you stopped by to share this question with us. It sounds like a visit to the Disneyland Resort is in your future and I'm thrilled to help you prepare.
I called to chat with a Cast Member who shared that unfortunately, the mini fridges in the rooms do not come with a freezer. Although some people and things are worth melting for, there's no need to worry about your frozen goods. The Cast Member I spoke with shared that you can head to the Bell Desk where they have a freezer and can store frozen things for you. It's as convenient as Olaf's personal snow flurry.
I'm so excited to hear that you will be staying at the
Disneyland Hotel. It's really hard to choose a favorite hotel at the resort, but I think this one might be mine. It's so iconic and whimsical and gives me all of the nostalgic vibes. If you're a Disney+ subscriber, there's a really great episode (Season 1, Episode 7) on the history of the Disneyland Hotel in the series
Behind the Attraction. It's so fun to see all of the vintage footage of the hotel.
Be sure to take advantage of the benefits of staying on resort property, like
Early Entry. This will give you a 30-minute head start to knock out a lot of rides before the theme park opens to the general public. Just make sure that your
theme park reservations align with the designated park offering this benefit for each day of your stay. My favorite part about staying at the Disneyland Hotel is being able to head downstairs and walk over to Tangaroa Terrace Tropical Bar & Grill for a DOLE Whip.
Emily, I hope this is helpful as you are preparing for your visit. Let us know if there's anything else that we can help with. Here's wishing you a magical time at the Happiest Place on Earth!
Michelle
