Hey howdy hey, Ronna.
Welcome to planDisney! I'm glad to hEAR you're considering a trip to
Walt Disney World Resort in the near future. There's so much to see and do during
The World's Most Magical Celebration this year. Plus, there are exciting new arrivals, like
Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind and the launch of
MagicBand+, to look forward to.
My husband and I just stayed at
Disney's All-Star Movies Resort a few weeks ago for the first time and really enjoyed the laid back atmosphere and decor that paid homage to some of our favorite Disney films. The Cast Members were helpful, friendly, and went above and beyond when we needed assistance. Our room was spacious and had plenty of storage. The rooms do have a mini-refrigerator, coffee maker, and an assortment of coffee supplies, but they do not have microwaves. Hakuna matata though! The
World Premiere Food Court has microwaves available for Guest use.
If you plan on using the microwaves often, you might consider upgrading to a
Preferred Room. These rooms are close to the Resort lobby, dining, shopping, and transportation. My husband and I stayed in a Preferred Room and could be at the buses and food court in only a few minutes' time. If you do the same, it's likely you could be at the microwaves in only a few minutes whenever you need to use them. You can't beat that convenience!
When you check in for your Resort reservation, be sure to ask the Front Desk for information on any recreational activities being offered on site during your stay. You might be able to catch a complimentary screening of a Disney film at
Movies Under the Stars at your Resort during your trip. Don't forget to take a plunge in the
Fantasia Pool during your stay as well!
Ronna, I hope this information helps you in planning for your Walt Disney World Resort vacation. The magic is calling YOU, and there really is no better time to come "home" than now.
You've got a friend in me,
Alyssa
