Does the mini fridge in coronado springs have a freezer to be able to put a reusable ice pack? If not, can you use closed zip lock bags of ice to put in your cooler for in the parks? The rules say no loose ice in the cooler.

    Welcome to planDisney, Alicia!

I'm so glad to hear you are thinking ahead to your trip and familiarizing yourself with the park rules and procedures.

Among the amenities provided in your room at Disney's Coronado Springs Resort, you'll find a small refrigerator.  The refrigerator does not have a freezer compartment.  You are correct that loose ice is not permitted in coolers, but you are welcome to fill small baggies with ice.  I recommend packing some quart or gallon zip-top bags, or you can even use the plastic liner that is provided with the ice bucket in your room.  If you need to replenish your supply of ice while in the parks, stop by a quick-service dining location and ask for a complimentary cup of ice.

During the phased reopening of Walt Disney World Resort, numerous health and safety measures have been implemented along with some operational changes.  I have included this "Know Before You Go" information for your convenience.  I recommend checking this page frequently prior to your trip for any potential changes or updates.

I hope that helps!  Please feel free to stop by planDisney again with any additional questions you may have as you plan your visit to Walt Disney World Resort.  Have a wonderful vacation!
