Hi Nicole! Thanks for bringing your question to the Disney Parks Moms Panel.
I also love the mini Disney gift cards! I like to keep one around my wrist or clipped on the strap of my backpack for quick purchases. Unfortunately, the only place to purchase one outside of Walt Disney World Theme Parks is at Disney Springs. I know this doesn't really help with your wanting to purchase one ahead of your next trip, but I'd like to offer a suggestion.
In addition to being able to purchase
Disney Gift Cards from many grocery and retail stores across the United States, did you know you can also purchase them online? At
disneygiftcard.com, you can purchase cards (with hundreds of available designs) and even add an optional personalized Card Carrier for FREE!
One of my favorite features of the Disney Gift Card website, though, is the ability to
manage multiple Disney Gift Cards all in one spot. You can add and track up to five cards and even transfer balances from one Disney Gift Card to another (up to $1,000)! This means that even if you purchase a regular-sized Disney Gift Card before your next Walt Disney World vacation, you can use the Disney Gift Card website to transfer that balance to the new mini gift card you can pick up when you arrive! Disney Gift Cards have no fees, don't expire, are available in set amounts from $25 to $500, and even include free shipping when purchased online. You can even reload your gift cards at many Disney Parks and Disney Store locations in the U.S., Canada and Puerto Rico, too!
Hopefully, this suggestion will help you manage your Disney Gift Cards while still offering you the convenience of picking up a mini Gift Card when you begin your most magical vacation.
Amy
