Hello! This will by mine and my husband's first time coming to Walt Disney World. Are there any brochures or pamphlets you can mail or provide for the parks? We aren't sure which park we would like to go to yet. Thanks!

    Hi Emilee,

Welcome to planDisney! I so excited to hear that you're planning your first ever Walt Disney World Resort vacation! There's no place more magical, and you and your husband are going to have a BLAST!

While Disney is no longer mailing informational packets to Guests, I'd be happy to point out some planning tools for you to be able to find everything you need to plan a visit that's in the words of Mary Poppins, "Practically perfect in every way." You might want to start by visiting the Tomorrow is Just a Dream Away page for some inspiration. The video at the top will get you in the perfect Disney-planning mood, then you'll find information there about the various theme parks, ticketing options, Resort hotels, and more! I'd also encourage you to watch some of the helpful videos that my fellow planDisney panelists have shared; they're a great way to learn a lot about the various aspects of a Disney vacation. I don't want to overwhelm you with too much information, but this ticketing guide is one more fantastic tool to help you discover the must-dos at each park and help you figure out how to build your itinerary. You'll find magic and fun at each of the four theme parks, and because they're all so different, my personal recommendation is to stay long enough that you can experience each one!

While there are many ways to plan the perfect Disney trip, sometimes it's just helpful to have something to hold in your hands. I'm happy to let you know that it's possible to print the very maps they hand out in the theme parks right from the comfort of your own home. You'll find the most up-to-date version on each theme park's individual page. (Here are links for Magic Kingdom Park, EPCOT, Disney's Hollywood Studios, and Disney's Animal Kingdom Theme Park.) Simply look under the blue header at the top of the page. Over on the left-hand side, you'll see a link for Guest Services and a small arrow with a link to the Guide Map. Click the arrow and Bibbidi Bobbidi Boo, you can print the map right from there, read through the various attractions and dining locations, highlight, circle, and mark them up to your heart's content!

I hope this helps get you started, Emilee! We're so glad you stopped by planDisney today and hope you'll come see us again with any other questions along the way. We're always here and happy to help! Sending pixie dust for a truly magical vacation for you and your Prince Charming!
