Hi! I have a million questions, since I will be going to WDW in a week with my 10yrs old and my 1 yr old sons. But my main question right now is where can I go food shopping for basics like fruits, milk, eggs? I will stay at the Boardwalk Villas

    Lilian,

There are a few places you can consider for gathering the necessities for your trip.

First off, there is a store on the BoardWalk that has some of the essentials. However it is more of a convenience store, and while the prices are not as blown out of proportion as you might expect, they aren't warehouse club prices either.

Your second choice is to have one of the area grocery delivery services deliver to your resort. Garden Grocer is a great one, and you can place your order online beforehand and specify delivery times. They have a $12 delivery charge that is waived on orders over $200, and you do have to be there to receive them.

Finally, you could grab a cab and go to an area store, like Goodings. The advantage there is that if you need alcoholic beverages you would be able to get these on the same trip.

    BOTTOM LINE:
I think that the grocery delivery service is the best option. If you really need a bottle of wine or spirits for the room, you can still go to the store on the BoardWalk, but with the delivery you get better prices, lots of convenience, and not a lot of added expenses.

    Have a magical vacation!
