Hi Lachelle, welcome to planDisney!
You are one month away from soaring high on Dumbo the Flying Elephant at Magic Kingdom park, flying
The Millennium Falcon on Millennium Falcon: Smugglers Run at Disney's Hollywood Studios, and discovering you are the magic during
Walt Disney World Resort's 50th Anniversary Celebration. If I'm this excited about your trip, you must be over the Mickey-shaped moon!
I wish to extend my deepest gratitude to you and your wife for your family's service to our county. As the granddaughter and daughter-in-law of retired servicemen, I understand and appreciate the sacrifices military spouses make on behalf of a grateful country. With a valid and active U.S. Military ID, I'm happy to share that you can activate and use the
Disney Military Salute tickets your wife purchased without her being present. To activate the tickets before park entry, you need to bring your U.S. Military ID along with the exchange vouchers you received at the time of purchase to a Guest Relations window located outside the entrance of each theme park or the
Disney Ticket Center at Disney Springs. All members of your traveling party planning to use the Disney Military Salute tickets should also be present at the time of activation with a photo ID. Children do not have to show ID.
Even before your tickets are activated, Lachelle, you are able to
link them to your
My Disney Experience account, check the
Theme Park Reservation Availability Calendar, and make
theme park reservations. April dates are starting to fill up, so I recommend you do this as soon as possible. I went over the
steps of linking a Disney Military Salute ticket to My Disney Experience with another Guest recently, which you may find helpful.
Plan magic; planDisney.
