Are Military Salute tickets uneligible to pre-register and load on Magic bands? Will my CA dl be suffice to activate my tickets?

Welcome to planDisney, Juanita! Thank you for submitting your question to us!

From all of us at planDisney, thank you for your family's service! Service members can purchase Disney Military Salute tickets on active duty, retirees, or Veterans who are 100% disabled. Their spouses can buy them too, and a maximum of six tickets can be purchased each year. Upon purchase, you will receive a receipt with a Disney Reservation #, which you will use to link the tickets to you and your guests in your My Disney Experience mobile app (don't forget to make Theme Park Reservations!). When you link your tickets, they will automatically sync to the MagicBand or MagicBand+ you have on your account.

Once your tickets are linked, your tickets will have a yellow bar at the top, and a sign that says "not valid with admission; must show ID at Ticket Window before using" in red letters under the bar code. Keep your receipt from purchase, you will need to bring it with you to Walt Disney World Resort. When you arrive at your first theme park, stop by Guest Relations, and the service member will need to present their military ID to activate the tickets for everyone in your group. Once this step is done, you can head to the entrance, scan your MagicBand, and have a magical day!

Juanita, I hope this information was helpful! Thank you again for visiting planDisney. If you need additional pixie dust planning your visit, reach out to me at any time. You've got a friend in me!
