Hi there, James, and welcome to planDisney!
First things first, thank you for your service. As a military spouse, I love that Disney recognizes the sacrifices of U.S. Veterans by offering discounts and deals. It's my pleasure to help you with your question.
Yes, if you already have your
military promotional tickets, you can swing by the
Transportation & Ticket Center (the TCC) near Magic Kingdom, any Guest Relations or ticketing location at any theme park (my advice is to use the one that you're visiting that day), or the
Disney Ticket Center at Disney Springs. At one of those locations, you can activate your tickets using a valid military ID and purchase the discounted
Memory Maker. The qualifying military member must be present.
Although my family qualifies for the military Memory Maker deal, we use it via a
Disney World Annual Passholder add-on. It is a must-have for us. We can download our vacation photos, such as silly on-ride shots and cherished PhotoPass photographer ones, in the
My Disney Experience app.
AN EXTRA GEM: If you want to tap into the magic as soon as possible, you can always buy Memory Maker later in your trip because the linked photos won't expire until 45 days after each photo or video was taken.
James, I hope that this helps! If you have any additional vacation planning questions for Disney World and beyond, reach out to us
here at planDisney.com.
Magic always,
LeAndra
