Hi Samantha! Thanks for visiting planDisney.
While
some military tickets require the eligible military service member to be present at activation,
standard military discounted tickets typically don't require the service member to be present, and therefore, can be gifted. I hope that's good news! What a lovely gift.
One important detail: at this time, Guests must have both a valid admission ticket and a
theme park reservation to enter the parks. If you receive tickets as a gift, you'll need to make theme park reservations. First, link your tickets. Next, make a theme park reservation for your preferred day and park. Availability isn't guaranteed, and popular days and parks can fill up, so be sure to make your arrangements as early as possible!
Share those
Disney PhotoPass pictures with your parents. Parents love to see you enjoying their gifts. You'll find talented PhotoPass photographers located throughout the parks, capturing your magical memories. Plus, if you purchase Lightning Lane Passes on the Disneyland mobile app after you enter the parks, your Disney PhotoPass photos will be included for the day. What a great perk!
Have a magical day.
